ABOUT ME

I am a biologist and my favourite animals are insects. I love just being outdoors, visiting national parks, foraging, camping, diving. I also love rainforests, circusy things and hanging upside down on my aerial hoop.

I love travelling to new countries, learning their culture and customs, trying their national meals and drinks. One of the first things I do in a new place is going to the market and buying all the vegetables and fruits I haven't tried before.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am quite new to CS but I guess everyone has to start somewhere so I am starting now. It's always great to meet people from the country that you are visiting, they know all the secrets!

Centres d'intérêt

I worked in the Natural History Museum in London for a few years and since then I really like identifying animals and plants, mainly insects. I went on a few expeditions with the museum to some really cool places including Zambia and Borneo which was amazing. Since then I also added Papua New Guinea and Madagascar on my 'tropical countries list'.

Whenever me and my boyfriend are outdoors, we really like looking for edible plants; our latest creations are nettle cordial and dandelion wine :)

In winter, I do snowboarding and cross-country skying.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

night diving in the Philippines. being 17 metres under water at night is pretty amazing and unreal ... you see fish sleeping in coral and fluorescent plankton when you move your arms around.

(number 2 best thing - sleeping on the tree platform in the rainforest of Borneo and being woken up by monkey calls)
