Hello!

My name is Lucia and I'm a biologist from Brazil currently studying a Ph.D. in Philosophy of Biology in Melbourne, Australia. I also have a masters in Animal Behavior, which declares my love for animals in all colors and shapes!! Apart from that, I spent two years in law school before my Ph.D. started.

I love to travel and meet new people. I'm very interested in different lifestyles and cultures. I'm always open to learning new things!

I lived in two cities in my home country - Brazil - Salvador and Sao Paulo. I also lived in California, USA, for a year, in an undergrad exchange program. Currently, I live in Melbourne, a beautiful and cold city in Australia. I feel that every place that I visited or lived made me who I am, I'm really glad to have had those opportunities.

My friends say that I have infinite curiosity. It's hard to find something that I'm not interested in learning at least a bit. But my main interests include people and places, their cultures, and pieces of knowledge.

音乐、电影和书籍

Music: As I'm away from home, I listen to a lot of Brazilian music: samba, axé, forró, maracatu, MPB... I am also a lover of dancing! I would love to learn about new artists.

Movies: I'm always up to watch a movie!! I watch a lot of science fiction and adventure movies. But I'm also super interested in historical and political documentaries.

Books: Unfortunately, as a Ph.D. student, I read mostly books in my field of work. However, I always try to squeeze a romance when I have time!
