ABOUT ME
Lucy has a great sense of humor. She is a good listener, caring and interested. Lucy is very respectful of other people and appreciative of their helpfulness. Quiet and contemplative. Interesting in expanding her horizons via travelling and continuing education. Loves arts and crafts.
Interests
I love reading. My favourite books include the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon as well as older classics. I also enjoy Lee Child, John Grisham and J.A. Jance. I have recently read several books about sustainable living, and vegan/ vegetarianism. I am slowly moving in that direction in my life, although I respect the choices others make in this regard. I am especially intrigued by the connection between health and dietary habits. I am also interested in documentaries such as Vegucated, Food Matters etc. I am currently volunteering at the Vancouver Tool Library, which is a cooperative which loans out tools etc, much like a food cooperative does.
I am interested in second hand stores and I like to do home renovation projects around the home such as painting and installing laminate flooring. I have recently taken up vegetable gardening, and have been slowing replacing my lawn with edible plants.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My ability to complete home renovation projects and use power tools. Not so scary after all.
I am in awe of people who have completely changed their lives through weight loss, adopting new fitness habits, and overcoming various health and personal issues through determination and diligence. Essentially people who have the grit and determination to go against the flow and their own inclinations and work towards a higher goal.
The Sistine Chapel left me breathless and awestruck. Amazing.
