Overview
About Me
Hey there! I'm Luciana and I'm from Córdoba, Argentina. I'm going to be studying abroad the next semester of the year in Germany, being more specific, in Karlsruhe :). I'll be there studying and working for a year, so I would love to know people from other cities around Europe.
If you'd like to know more about me (I know that this is not LinkedIn) I study Chemical Engineering and I've almost completed my degree. I'm fluent in English (Spanish obviously :)), and I'm still learning German.
Leaving aside my studies and my work life, I absolutely love dogs (thus there're a lot of photos with my dog), roller skating (that's why I almost have no knees), dancing, and meeting new people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to travel around Europe meeting new people and avoiding the typical tourism that most people do. The essence of places is something that I would really like to know.

Music, Movies, and Books
Probably my favorite movie in the world is Secondhand Lions but I'm also a big fan of Harry Potter's books and movies. Also love disaster movies like The day after tomorrow, Armaggedon, Bølgen, and others.
My favorite genre when reading is probably romantic novels, but sometimes you can find some mystery or scary books and stories on my Kindle too (e.g my favorite Argentine author is Mariana Enriquez, I totally recommend her books)
About my music favorites, I listen to a lot of different artists and genres. Probably I would say that Coldplay is one of my favorites, and I think that no one should die without going to a Coldplay show at least once. Shuffling around my Spotify's playlists you can find from Dua Lipa, Florence + The Machine, and Bruno Mars to WhoMadeWho and the 1975. My favorite music in Spanish comes from Fito Paez, Amaia, Babasonicos, Jorge Drexler and much more of Argentine rock
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm not pretty sure if this is the most amazing thing I've done but once I jumped in free fall 80 meters high in a thematic park in Argentina (I'm a big fan of roller coasters and everything that generates a lot of adrenaline).
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach much content about Mathematics, Chemistry, Process, and Engineering if you're interested (but probably you won't haha). But I talk a lot and you can have fun with me listening to the thousand anecdotes I have (Argentine nights are pretty fun).
If we are talking about food I can teach you some recipes from my country which are absolutely delicious. Also, I always arrive at a new place with a box of Argentinian alfajores under my arm ;)
