Hi! My name is Luciana. I have obtained a Degree in English Literary and Technical Translation, and now I'm studying Linguistics and Literature at the Universidad Nacional de Rosario, Argentina.

I am an active and outgoing person. In my free time I like hanging out with friends, going to concerts, clubs and other events. I've always loved studying languages, travelling and meeting new people. Besides, I like doing outdoor activities, swimming and yoga. I am interested in photography and fine arts, I also like performing arts. I enjoy cooking (I hope to learn new recipes!).

I want to become a teacher because I truly love working with people. I've applied for a Working Holiday Visa in Japan in order to learn more about the language and the traditions of this incredible country.
I've worked as a receptionist in La Lechuza hostel, in Rosario, Argentina.
I work as an English translator and interpreter, and I've also edited and subtitled videos. Besides, I've worked as a Japanese translator for a manga publishing house with branches in Argentina and Spain, translating comics into Rioplatense and Peninsular Spanish.

I have worked as an English and Spanish teacher, and I would welcome the opportunity to learn from friendly people, as well as share my knowledge of those languages.
I'm an editor and proofreader in the magazine Revista Apología, Rosario, Argentina since 2013. I discuss with writers and take editorial decisions, as well as conduct the final quality control related to texts, images and format.
