About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet new people and facilitate meaningful travel

ABOUT ME

I grew up in international schools and the US giving me the privilege of visiting many countries during my youth and adolescence. This coupled with my attitude toward a multinational identity has made me an avid traveler and sociable person. My mother is from Argentina and I have a lot of family in Cordoba and Buenos Aires. I tend to think of Argentina as a home away from home.

I am currently traveling and writing. I am the author of two collections of poetry, “Reaper’s Milonga” (2018) and “Peregrine Nation” (2014).

PHILOSOPHY

Acquisition of new experiences and constantly keeping one's eyes open to their surroundings should be central to any person's life. Being an aware person is also being conscious of the inexhaustible wealth of patience and kindness in yourself. We should strive to be generous with it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am interested in staying with people rather than in the sterile environment of commonplace travel. The experience of a place is to a large degree defined by the people one meets there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted couchsurfers in the past with my roommate and have surfed in the past few times. I found the experience rewarding and just as importantly, very fun. I am ready to start hosting again once I settle down somewhere.

Music, Movies, and Books

Most everything written by Neruda, Sexton, Berryman, Marquez, Calvino, Murakami

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was lucky enough to make it to Bhutan when I was 17. I played a friendly soccer match with their national team and visited the Tiger's Nest.

Teach, Learn, Share

I studied poetry in graduate school. I'd hope to learn from others who deal in the arts, no matter what medium. I am a willing learner and hope to someday work with a master carpenter.
