Considering that I’m quite shy and I tend to get rid of the past very easily, I have to admit I’m not that big fan of biographies (not to mention self-written ones…), but it seems that knowing the life and the past of their guests makes people feeling more at ease with whom they’re going to meet – and that’s quite a reasonable point too, ça va sans dire. Therefore…

I’m a recently graduated student in languages, linguistics and cultural studies at the University of Venice, as well as a great supporter of the new ways of interaction and sharing experiences among people, such as Couchsurfing. Also, I’m an obsessive relentless traveller, with an instinctive hunger for new countries and scenarios; but the part of my journeys I like the most is indeed when I make new friends. Travelling taught me many great lessons, and the most important among them is respect; there are no good and bad cultures, there are only people and their stories.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I support all those means which allow people to get in touch and help each other, i.e. sharing economy. In this day and age, it’s essential to develop the capability of tracking down the common threads between us, rather than the differences (everyone can see the differences... it's too easy!). We are all humans, even though our cultures may be different, we all have the same essential needs and I believe that building up a network of people who can help each other and share their skills to make a service to the community just in change of other services it’s going to radically change our society: change one's habits to change the world.
