Passion and joy are kind of my thing. I am open-minded and I love new experiences, new places and new people. I truly believe that a small amount of sarcasm and cheesyness won't hurt anyone. I love being an ambassador of my culture, sharing the best of it so that others can fall in love with it too. And at the same time, I love to learn about other cultures and absorb the positive things about them.

I work as a guide in expedition cruiseships in Antarctica, Patagonia (my home), Alaska and the Arctic, being a host and showing to the world the wonders of these palces, so basically I make my living being a great host and making people from all over the world feel amazing. My Norwegian workmates call me Puss in Boots (from Shrek 2), because of the persona I become when I am happy. Music, fitness and tourism are my other passions.

PHILOSOPHY

Live this life at its fullest without regrets, because your mistakes make you wiser. Walk tall, love eagerly, laugh out loud and never, EVER lower your arms. Fight for your dreams. I am a true believer that you should treat others the way you would like to be treated (unless you are masochistic haha). Be kind to people, no matter who they are. I believe in the power of a simple smile in your daily life and it fascinates me to share the positive aspects of life and do good in this world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am in CS because for me there is nothing better while traveling than meeting and getting to know local people. And the people you meet while traveling can make a tremendous difference in your experience.

Despite of the fact that I don't have much experience with CS, I couchsurf all the time. My job and my life choices have made me friends all over the world,so when I travel, I stay with them. On the other hand, because of my job as a host in my homeland, I am used to making visitors and people around me happy and comfortable, and while traveling I continue to do so ;D
