I am a professor of Latin language and literature, who also studied history at university. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, traveling to other countries is definitely nice, but it is even better to experience beautiful moments with the people who live there.

Both in hotels and at Airbnb, the experience is usually too cold without the opportunity to communicate with people or to do something together with them.

I also find the will to accommodate another person to be a great sign of hospitality, generosity, reciprocity and love for difference.
