Hi there,

I am Lucia, originally from the heart of Europe - Slovakia (currently living in its capital).
But because I was very lucky to be able to travel here and there, live for a while in those incredible places, I feel more like I left pieces of my heart (and nationality:D) around the world.

I love traveling: getting to know different ways of living, views on life, places. When you get lost and then you found something unexpected. It helps me to keep my mind open and my heart free.

Well, and I also love cuban salsa (a lot), nature, walking, ikitenge, cheese, ice cream and chocolate.

I believe that to know some place/culture is the best through the people. Their language, food, dances, stories. And couchsurfing has it all.

Musica: salsa cubana, cumbia, afrobeat, different fusions, folk, traditional, pop, classical, from movies,... if the rythm is good, then the musica.

Movies: LOTR:), documentaries (Jane Goodall, David Attenborough,...), sitcoms (Miranda, Brooklyn 99), drama/those deep movies you think about them for a while after you finish them (Her, Aeronauts, Into the wild, .... mama mia, many:)), fairytales:D (Encanto, Up, Coco, Tangled... - yeah, I know:)).

Books: fantasy nerd here:) - LOTR and others, reportage, classic, self-development, fairytales, travelogues, biographies, permaculture topics,...

Mama mia, there are many I consider to be amazing.... e.g. I was sort of a passport controller at the DRC border.

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

I can share my pure interest and very advanced listening skills for your stories and experiences:). My (little) salsa or bachata dancing moves and steps. And I am not the best cook but I am willing to prepare something from my vegetarian cuisine. Oh, and of course I can share my stories, my culture, my experiences.
