Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The first day I jumped out of the nest, I landed far-far away from home, on a couch in a foreign country. This experience couldn't have been better. The people I met and the atmosphere made for the first of many great experiences to come.

Exploring and appreciating the basic aspects of life, learning new languages, dedicating my life to architecture and urban development, taking pictures, dancing the night away, sketching, mountain biking, drinking green tea.

Teach, Learn, Share

After taking part in urban planning projects in Germany and India, I worked two years for a non-profit in Mexico which builds housing for families living in extreme poverty. Since then I have worked in international projects of urban development and sustainable emergency architecture.
