I'm an easy-going, open-minded person that loves connecting with people from all around the world and get to know other cultures and ways of living. My biggest passion for sure is music! I've been playing guitar for more than 15 years now, I love going to concerts and I play guitar and sing in a little punk rock band.
I like to keep things natural and would always rather spend my money on experiences than on material stuff.
Last but not least I always enjoy trying new things, cause if you think about it: you never knew you like ice cream until you tried it, right? ;)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I quit my beloved job in Civil Engineering and started traveling the world indefinitely! I have places I want to go to but would love to have someone every once in a while that I could meet up with there. That might like to show me around or just have coffee or lunch to chit-chat and tell me what might be cool to explore in that area or really just to have a good conversation! I'm looking for places to stay at every now and then too, but I'm in this for a bit of connection to locals all around instead of sitting in a hotel room just all by myself and missing out on great trips around cause I don't know the place well enough!

I've done Couchsurfing on my previous trips and I met SO many amazing people and made dear friends all over the world. This app and the connections it makes possible are definitely a main reason why I fell in love with traveling!

兴趣

Mainly everything music related: playing music, listening to music, collecting vinyls, CDs and tapes (yes, I do listen to those and import them to my iPod, I don't have Spotify cause I like it old school 😜) going to concerts, watching documentaries about music/bands, music history.
Staying active (team sports, boardsports, running, gym).
I'm also very interested in sustainability and getting more and more into minimalism for I am a firm believer that less is more.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

My trip to Namibia in 2021 was my first solo travel, just a backpack and 7 weeks of traveling throughout most of the country all alone was the best experience I had so far! I met soo many amazing and lovely people along the way that I never would have met if I wasn't traveling alone.

My second solo trip was 3 months USA in 2022, just a backpack and a guitar this time. It was on that trip when I first started using Couchsurfing and fell in love with this way of traveling!

Back home I've been trying to teach myself how to record and produce my own songs. I'd appreciate any tips and tricks and help on that but I don't expect it at all! I can teach you a little bit of guitar, but I'm not a teacher for that at all, it would be just for fun!
And of course I could help a little bit with German if anyone is interested in learning/improving it. It's my mother tongue :)
