We are Romane and Lucien. We are both 25 years old and from France.

Romane comes from the Alpes, near the moutains! So of course, she loves to ski, hike and travel, but she went to Paris to study. That's where we met and where Lucien comes from! Even if he comes from the city, he also loves nature! But the thing that we love the most, the both of us, is to travel and meet new people!

That's why we both moved to study for one and a half year to Norway. There we met some wonderful people from all over the world! And that's why we really want to continue this experience!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We heard about it thanks to some friends, and thought it would be an amazing way to meet new people from all around the world and build amazing memories about places we've been to. That's why, we either want to host or be hosted somewhere.

Interests

We are young architects and we both work in offices. We think architecture should have a big impact on improving living conditions and having the least impact on the environment, so we both work in offices with high social and ecological values. Romane works primarily on big rehabilitation projects of social housing from the 60'/70', and Lucien works on smaller public projects like social housing and schools, children's activity center with an approach focused on wood, earth and straw building techniques. But be reassured, we don't speak only about architecture ! We also love plenty of other things and love to discover new subjects !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well I guess we are still young and have a lot to discover but we would say our exchange to Norway ! It opened our minds and allowed us to meet people from all around the world! Amazing experience!
