Hi,
I am currently a student at Trinity College Dublin studying History which I am passionate about and enjoy talking about! I especially enjoy cultural history that focuses on art, photography, cinema, theatre and dance and how it is affected by war but I read pretty widely. But yeah, wars man. Can't beat em.

I am in Japan for a year abroad currently, studying at Tokyo University. I love this place!

I really enjoy meeting new people and I think that having a host in a city is definitely the most interesting way to see a place. Meeting people randomly always creates links where you wouldn't expect and sparks conversations that take you out of your comfort zone.

I am in Japan on a foreign exchange and so I am trying to get around the country and have as many good times as possible before heading back home and what better way to do it than from a kind stranger's couch.

I love most things Jazz. I do a bit of DJing and in my sets I usually include quite a varied mix of tunes ranging from Gil-Scott-Heron to garage and right back round to Britney Spears because why the hell not? Toxic.

Recent favourite movies have been 'The Handmaiden', 'Elle' as well as classics like Serpico, Mean Streets and pretty much anything by Scorsese or the Cohen brothers. Strangest thing I've seen recently was 'The Holy Mountain', a mad experimental film from the 70s that looks at religion and consumerism in a very eccentric way. Hard to explain.

Backpacked around Europe last summer and had a fantastic time, meeting lots of people and having incredible experiences. I sailed from Barcelona to Ibiza on my friends boat and saw some of the most amazing stars in the middle of the Mediterranean.
