Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend and I recently bought plane tickets to Iceland, sadly not knowing just how expensive the country really is. We then decided it'd be great to finally try couchsurfing :)

In the future when I have a house of my own and not just a rented student house, I'd love to be a host as well

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a 2 week student exchange in Irun, Spain. I got to learn more not only about the Spanish culture but also about the Basque culture, their unique language and customs. We sang songs with lyrics in front of us not helping at all because of how different the Basque language is as to anything we were taught before. Even though we studied Latin, the mother of all languages, we simply couldn't decifer a single word's meaning. I think that explains enough how extraordinary this experience was.
