About Me

CURRENT MISSION

find focus. live a good life.

ABOUT ME

I am trying to figure out what I want to do with my life. In the long run and in the months to come alike.
I grew up in Croatia, lived in Vienna from January 2010 until recently and now am in the process of moving to Stockholm.
I used to travel a lot on business, but it was all work and no play. Still, a lot of the people that I met during these trips influenced me in remarkable ways. I am eternally curious about the world around me.

PHILOSOPHY

"Have patience with everything unresolved and try to
love the questions themselves." (wisdom by Rilke)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started with hosting and meeting travelers. Soon I hope to start travelling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Started hosting/meeting Couchsurfers in summer 2011 and loving it. Hope to start travelling soon.

Interests

I'm interested in the world. I love theatre, books, music, yoga, learning new languages, new things. I am very interested in green and sustainable living and I hate the way valuable things and resources are wasted in our world.

Music, Movies & Books

I feel that listing preferences in this field frequently becomes an attempt at intellectual show-off - in reality and in this regard, I am open to everything with heart and intelligence. I love discovering new movies, books and music. Recent movie I find intriguing : Melancholia. Recent writer I loved more than others: Felisberto Hernandez. Recent music I've been listening to: Lhasa de Sela.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

A brief encounter at the airport in Istanbul.
A lot of brief encounters with strangers actually.
That's why I thought CS might be a good place for me.
I visited Siberia in winter. It was -30, covered in snow and like in a Slavic fairy tale. It was amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I hope to soon become a yoga teacher and give lessons to anyone who might desire them.

Countries I've Visited

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denmark, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Russian Federation, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine

Countries I've Lived In

Austria, Croatia, Sweden
