About Me

*CURRENTLY IN ASIA, CAN'T HOST/MEET UP*

Hello surfer! My name is Lucila and I've been travelling since I was 20. I'm a sociologist, specialised in gender and sports, though curious about almost everything. I’m always pushing forward. I consider myself a fun and grateful person. I enjoy meeting new people –and getting to know them as well-. I am always willing to have new experiences.

I love raving but I also enjoy staying at home drinking wine and tasting different cheeses. I loooove coffee, or mate and Argentinian pastries = ¡meriendas!

I could host women. I live in Buenos Aires with my boyfriend though not within the city centre. I'm 40 minutes distance from the Obelisco, but I have 2 different train lines and a few buses near my apartment. Tell me about you and why are you visiting Argentina :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always been interested in diversity: every country’s history, tradition, food, lifestyle, religion, language, sports, music, perspectives of the world. That's why I think that this platform is nearly the best way to get to know all of those aspects. I've been Iearning a lot here. I also believe that people who get in here is keen on offering his help and that's a really nice attribute that not everyone has.

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly read sociology and history books, I also like philosophy. I do like reading fictions but it's hard for me to choose one... so I'm open to recommendations.
Recently I've been reading Mark Fisher.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went trekking above the Perito Moreno glacier in Argentinian Patagonia. It was the most amazing thing I've ever done. If you're there, do not miss it!

Hummm.... it's not incredible but I worked on a zucchini farm which I never thought that could actually happen. I hate it, of course. I only worked there for one week and I was fired.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to teach you some Spanish and it would be a pleasure for me to show you about my country's history and lifestyle -or my personal's, though it's not really interesting, to be honest-.

I want to learn about your everyday. What do you do, what do you like, what you don't like and why.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good conversation, I enjoy talking about whatever topic goes through your mind. I consider myself a good cook, soooo you can test -or taste-. I also consider myself a good eater, you can test that too haha.

I hope I could help you with anything you need. I really enjoy solving people's problems.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Brazil, Colombia, England, France, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Thailand, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In
