ABOUT ME

Kiwi kid who grew up in the North Island of the glorious New Zealand. Recent graduate of Auckland University where I completed a Marine biology degree. Spent an epic year on exchange studying in Hawaii at UH Manoa. Now consider Oahu my second home.
Up for anything, adventure is a must and it's always better with a good adrenalin rush.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Humpback mother supporting her 2 week old calf while it rested on the surface of the oceans only 5 metres away from myself and fellow free divers off the coast of Niue - a small coral atoll in the South Pacific.
An inquisitive, curious endangered Hawaiian Monk Seal 30cm from my face on the east coast of Oahu, Hawaii.
Hundreds of ancient Nikau palms lining one of the fiercest and most beautiful stretches of coast in NZ's South Island after 3 days of hiking the Heaphy Track.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - everything I know and am capable of, otherwise there is no point to it. I like to think my degree can be put to use in some way so the ocean is a good starting point. If you are surfing (couch or the waves) with me in either my NZ home, or my Hawaiian home, then I will teach you all I know about the land and its occupants, and how you can get the most from your time spent there.
Learn - all that I can, from as many as I can.
Share - whatever is available and of any help.
