I'm a Brit currently living in Toronto, Canada!
Once I graduated Uni I decided to get a bit of travelling done! So I'm 6 months into a 2 month working visa in Canada.
Before I left the UK I visited a bunch of places in Europe, Inter-railing with my best friend for a month and going on a few solo trips. I can't wait to get back to that part of the world but for the next 2 years North America is my playground :D

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

A friend of mine was studying in Prague and while I visited her I met some people who hosted in the city. I had such a great time chatting to a local who would have been an incredible person to give me a tour of the city and he was so interesting I could have chatted all night!
I decided then that this is the most simple and ingenious way of travelling and I would love to join in! Like minded, helpful, travellers all wanting to meet new people and help eachother out!

The reason why my status is 'Maybe Accepting Guests' is because I live with housemates who I aren't too close with, so inviting strangers into the house might be a little over the line! But it is something I am working on!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

The most amazing experience of my life was interrailing around central/ eastern Europe in summer '14. I've never felt freedom like it. I used to say that the most amazing feeling in the world was being at a concert singing along with the crowd, but now I can say that nothing beats waking up in a beautiful country after two weeks of travelling (the most I've ever been away from home) and feeling like it's been way longer... and then realising that you have another two amazing unpredictable weeks ahead of you!

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

I go to a lot of gigs and I always meet bands from other countries and I ALWAYS daydream about where I'd take people and what I'd show them to give them a real taste of England. So I pretty much have a list of amazing places I'd show people who visit. I live in a major city but also very close to the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, and I have a love for the history of the country so we'd have an awesome time.
