ABOUT ME

People describe me as friendly and smiley.

I enjoy reading, watching movies, cooking and I'm crazy about car racing. I also love outdoor activites, especially cycling and trekking and the occasional videogame as well.

I like beer and wine, despite being really stubborn about never ever getting too drunk. Like most of my friends, you may try to persuade me to break my golden drinking rule, but the odds are definitely not on your side!

To me a good day out while traveling alone will usually be very busy walking frantically from a famous landmark to a good museum to an architectural highlight and so on making the most out of the day. Ok, ok. If something is really far away I might take a bus!

When CouchSurfing, on the other hand, it is a lot of fun to spend some time with the host and feel a little bit like a local.

At home, a good day out will be spent with friends, maybe doing something active like a sport or an outdoor activity.

Much more straightforward is my approach to a good night out: it will usually be with friends or fellow travelers somewhere good for talking such as a pub or somebody's place.

PHILOSOPHY

It is in constant development as I am still very far from ultimately figuring out deep questions such as "who am I?" or "what is the meaning of life?".

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Among other unimaginable experiences I went to a medieval costume party in a castle in Lithuania where I was invited to a pizza party in Tuscany! CouchSurfing makes your travels unpredictable and results in amazing discoveries and great stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'll read anything with adventure on it, from great fictional classics like "The Hobbit" and "King Solomon's Mines" to real-life stories like "West With The Night", "Endurance" and "On Thin Air". The same goes for movies.

Besides, good storytelling will always captivate me so movies like "The Shawshank Redemption" are very high on my list.

Oh, almost forgot Star Wars!

Some of my favourite bands are Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. I also like classical music and other genres.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving with a close friend through the quiet and beautiful plains of Uruguay on an old car, exploring the unknown sensation of geographic isolation and dealing with the constant menace of a likely breakdown in the middle of nowhere, 25 km away from the closest phone cabin. This was my first international trip and apart from the road movie feel, whenever we got to a new city we were amazed by how big an impression a different culture can make in your personality.

Teach, Learn, Share

I may teach you about Portuguese language, Brazil, the recipes I know, the places I've visited, and if you really feel like it, maybe even some tech stuff! I would appreciate, maybe even expect, for you to do the same if we are to spend some time together.
