ABOUT ME

I am 22-years-old and the first among my siblings to travel abroad! I am a first generation immigrant in the US, as both my parents were born in Sierra Leone and came to the US in the 70s for college and so on.

I hope to secure a job in which I am working with people or corporations overseas, which is why I applied and luckily landed my current co-op in Lyon, France. I spent two months before it studying at Cambridge U. in the UK to satisfy a few of my English courses and to get my feet wet so to speak, when it came to traveling.

I like cultures, I like learning new languages, and I would like to learn German, following French, and I currently can speak English, French, and my family's dialect--Mende.

I am extremely easy going and it's easy for me to accept new people and new situations, but I personally know for myself what I do and don't like, and what I will and won't do. But I am typically up for anything and enjoy going out as well as staying in. I would cook a meal with friends over clubbing however, and I don't do that so much as I complete my final year of university.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd like to host, though that may not be too feasible for me, as I return to Boston for school in the spring and I hope I do land a place that is big enough. I would love to meet people for coffee or a drink, however, and help them see the city always.

I have not couchsurfed yet, and I am moreso just learning the process, though I may have an opportunity to couchsurf for the first time in December!
