ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Lukas. I lived in or around Bern, the capitol of switzerland, all my life. I grew up on the countryside but became more and more a citykid.
my free time i mostly spend going out with friends. we all love music and like to go to concerts a lot. switzerland is fun to travel around, you can go everywhere in no time, so its no problem go out to all different cities - the problem is more then to go back when you've missed the last train!

I honestly don't know to much about my cities tourist attractions. Yes i've been up the münster, i've seen the bears and i went swimming in the aare. But i might know a few more bars and restaurants than your guidebook has to offer, so hit me up if thats your thing.

In addition, i recently founded a chess club called Schahlisach (www.schahlisach.ch) We are a group of people who like playing chess, but are very bad at it. Also, we like drinking while playing chess, so therefore a normal chess club would not have been an option for us. (Yes i'm serious)

PHILOSOPHY

I live in a world of fantasy so keep your reality away from me. i see what i want, i want what i see, and that is all okey by me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience: Met people living in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam while I was there for the second time and had no idea what to do now. The brought me to places far better than everything i've seen on my first visit. Bars and places away from the tourist area where the food tastes better and the beer is cheaper :)

Been couchsurfing a little bit in japan and australia, met people from couchsurfing pretty much everywhere else

Interests

all kind of Music especially but not only electronical music.

books. I like reading biographies although it's quite hard to find good ones. Also books about music get a place in my library and of course good written novel, especially the weird ones where caracters send love letters to ronald mcdonald...

stories about life, people, places....

and big cities. I like subways. busses. high buildings. endless streets with restaurants. lively bars. lots of traffic.
