I am an Italian student attending mechanical engineering courses in the Netherlands.
I am a positive and always smiling person, who sees the good part in everything. I love travelling and learning the beauty of each place and culture, I am curious about new languages and food. Food, actually, is one of the most important aspects of travelling... trying all possible foods makes me particularly happy!!
When I visit a place, I consider more important to get to know what locals would normally do; I consider turistic activities to be less important if compared to the real culture of a country/city. I enhjoy both to spend my time with other people and to stay alone, in order to have my time to think over things.
I am an adaptable and flexible person, used to live in an international environment: I share my flat with an Indian guy, an Italian one and two Spanish girls.
I have been travelling quite a lot in South America and Europe, next destiantion is California! There I will meet bìmy little brother, who is stydying abroad.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have gout to know Couchsurfing through a firend 2 years ago and so far I had only one Couchsurfing experience, which I found to be great. Afterwards I did not travel that much so I could not take advantage of such a creat suystem, but I believe it represents a wonderful opportunity to know about people and their culture.

I am convinced that in 2016 it is easy to make ourselves an idea of a place through TV, pictures an newspapers, but no media will be ever able to describe a good time spent with other people, different from you and that can teach you a lot.

I have always been travelling a lot sleeping in hostels, where I could meet a lot of new people and share with them new experiences. As well, since I was little, my family used to host peolple from abroad in order to let my brother and me get used to pther cultures and langauges.

Since I particularly appreciate to know new people and to exchange ideas and opinions with them, once I got to know Couchsurfing I immediately thaught it was a great opportunity to match travelling and learning about new cultures.

兴趣

I am currently learning to climb. I enjoy hiking and winter sports, as skying and ice skating.
I used to play trombone and, being Italian, I love opera!
I also enjoy reading and learning new languages, this is why if possible I try to read books in their original language.
