About Me
Hi, I'm a 22 year old recent graduate who enjoys solo travelling!
I'm very friendly and easy to talk to, though my hobbies might sound a little boring- gardening and baking :).
After 4 years of studying I'm hoping to see more of Europe before I start my job, so I'm up for adventures!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hostels can be good for meeting people, but they're also often impersonal, boring, expensive etc. My best trips have involved me borrowing a couch/spare room, getting to meet someone who actually lives in the place I'm visiting- someone as excited to introduce me to their country as I am to be there!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a historical fiction nut atm- started with The White Princess and now I'm hooked. I also read a lot of non-fiction, particularly books on science. Anything by Ben Goldacre (Bad Science) and stuff on neuroscience (e.g. The Brain that Changes Itself) or the pharma industry.
I love films, too many to name here. Special mention goes to Studio Ghibli and Lars von Trier- my guys.
A favourite film would be hard to pick, but I have soft spots for Billy Elliott, Bowling for Columbine, Life is Sweet and Brazil.
When it comes to music, I'll listen to pretty much anything!
Nah but seriously, I love music but I know v little about it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Met a some of my film heroes at a film premier ( I was trapped behind the fence, not on the red carpet unfortunately). J. J. Abram's autograph is still framed in my old bedroom.
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden
