Hey there!
My name is Lucy and I am a student from Vancouver British Columbia, Canada.
When I'm in Vancouver I am studying Sociology with a minor in Gender, Race, Sexuality and Social Justice. I am very passionate about school but often take time off to see the world.
I am particularly interested in contemporary living of people in different parts of the world. My studies have made me fascinated to learn, first hand, what it means to grow up somewhere besides Canada.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I'm couch surfing to achieve that first hand experience of contemporary culture in an area. I want to get to know locals, eat where the locals eat and see what the locals would see. I have very little interest in standing in line for hours behind tourists just like me to take a picture of a building/site/art piece that millions before me have seen. I want to know what's worth checking out, and what's a waste of time and I hope you can help me with that!

I'd love to cook, provide wine, or whatever I can do to make both of our experiences more enjoyable.
When I'm in Vancouver I love to give that same experience to someone else who is on their travels as well!
