I'm in my final year at uni in England after living in Paris for the last year and breathing the incredible city life there. Travelled a fair amount of Europe with loads of the far east and south America still on my list, which I'm planning currently.

Definitely had the travelling bug since I was little, very much an explorer and sharer - the things you learn when travelling never leave you

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Even though I'm super new to couchsurfing I've done a fair amount of travelling and the best thing I've found wherever I've been has been meeting locals and figuring out a place and its people from the ground up - I love free tours and meetups with locals and will go, even if I'm only there for a short while to just grab some local insight and get a real feel - its too easy to follow guide books and instagram accounts for inspiration, but couchsurfing is everything I love about travelling; sharing and learning. I lived in Paris this last year and without officially doing couchsurfing - I hosted loads of people from all over the world and loved it so much so I thought I should join and plan my next trips around it as it's such a great concept. I've also always had room mates and have always enjoyed it, so I thought it would be great for me and my kind host!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is so hard; I guess majorly hip hop but then everything that comes before and after hip hop, so jazz and blues, soul and motown - stuff that hip hop stems from, as well as newer stuff but then guitar playing takes me down rock and indie routes so its hard to pinpoint!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived with a Sicilian family last summer to care for their children but also dive straight into traditional Sicilian living and it was the most amazing experience of my life, the people are so sharing and welcoming, we climbed ruins to watch sunsets and drank on the beach and took mopeds up the mountains - just so surreal and unforgettable and I learnt so much about what's important and how to really live and love
