Kia Ora,

My name is Lucy, I am a kiwi living in the UK - this has been my home for over 3 years now. My base in UK has allowed me to travel and explore Europe in between holding down a career.
I am now counting down to packing up and spending a year in Asia with just a trusty back pack and my best friend, partner and my better half (all one person).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My sister was a avid couch surfer in her travelling years and when she settled back in NZ she always had a constant flow of people with so many wonderful stories, personalities and joy to share, she often had to many people and my mum picked up the overflow.
She now has a full home with three children so her time hosting has stopped for now - and my mum now runs a air bnb which is also a wonderful concept.

We want to couch surf primarily to meet people - people who know about the areas we stay, the culture, the food, what to see and do. An opportunity to share ideas.
