Overview
About Me
I'm a dancer and theatre maker from Melbourne, Australia. I grew up in the wilderness of Tasmania (a small island off Australia) climbing mountains, running wild on beaches and forever moving and making. I moved to Melbourne six years ago to train as a dancer and pursue my career - where I'm still moving, making, running and climbing.
My work and life are one and the same - meeting new people and collaborating on new creative ideas.
I'm pretty laid back - I like meeting new people and new experiences but I also enjoy my quiet time and am happy to sit reading a book.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I prefer to meet locals, forming new friendships and experience the true culture of the place I am visiting - to be present with other people and the world around me.
Interests
I'm very passionate about arts and culture - I love live dance (contemporary, improvisation, contact impro), live theatre and live music - gigs and music festivals. I also like being in nature, I enjoy hiking and swimming.

Music, Movies, and Books
I could talk forever about music, my taste is very broad.
I always have several books or plays on the go - right now my favourite is an essay on the works of Malin Hellkvist Sellén - a Swedish choreographer.
Twin Peaks and any lame 80's films are my favourite.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think I'm amazingly lucky with most of the people I meet and have in my life. So I would say all of the strange and challenging scenarios I've thrown myself into that now mean I'm surrounded and supported by amazing people.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A good conversation and laughter! I'm also a very good cook. And I can teach you how to dance if you'd like!
