I am absolutely in love with the outdoors, and traveling is my passion and goal for life. Attending college across the country was the first step for me, and hopefully my next venture will be WOOFing during the winter, and in a perfect world somewhere in New Zealand. Hiking, backpacking, ultimate frisbee and sailing, canoeing, kayaking, any form of water activities are what keep me sane and centered.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

being a college student, money is obviously always pretty... not there. I still love to meet people, and unlike a lot of people these days I still believe that everyone is good and friendly and I love to make friends wherever I go! If I lived in my own house that was big enough to host, I would gladly... but sadly I do not :(

I grew up without a TV and never had cable, and never really sit in front of a screen much so I haven't seen that many movies! Currently working on expanding that horizon however...
I absolutely adore historical fiction novels... also science fiction. Any well written story is a great one to me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked almost all of the 48 4,000 footers in New Hampshire, and many parts of the Appalachian Trail. Hope to one day do the whole thing, in one go!
Been a counselor for 4 years now at an all girls two week sleepover summer camp, centered around native american traditions. Probably one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had, and plan on being a counselor here for the rest of my life!
