My name is Lucy, I have been travelling basically since I graduated high school. It is an addiction that is difficult to curb. The last few years I have spent exploring North America and learning new things all the time. I love being outside smelling the pine trees and mossy forests. I love getting my hands dirty and shoveling that compost or cuddling that dirty dog. I am not afraid of new things, or new ideas. I love learning things that I did not know or would never have thought of. I love writing. reading. good food. good people. good conversation. I hope to meet you someday.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my best moments was in Vanuatu at the top of Yasur volcano on the island of Tanna. We had walked up the volcano at the end of the day to see the sunset falling on the horizon. Behind me there was a huge expanse of rainforest. in front of me a volcano spitting out hot red lava. and behind the volcano was a beautiful red sun setting over the blue pacific ocean. as the sun faded, the stars emerged and I could see the lava erupting into the sky and coming to a brief halt before falling again. In that brief moment it looked like they were all stars, until some of the stars started falling again. It was the most amazing experience of nature i've been lucky enough to be a part of.
..But in saying that, the most amazing things really are the little moments of joy and wonder.
