ABOUT ME

I'm enthusiastic and friendly. I like to chat, laugh.. spend time in the sun with a cup of coffee or glass of wine and some friends. I like to get to know the place around me... the streets, the people, everything. I like doing this best by foot or on my bike.

Soy tranquila, relajada, amistosa. Me gusta charlar, reír, pasar tiempo en el sol con un cafe o copa de vino y un amigo/a... me gusta conocer todo de donde me quedo... las calles, las personas.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was fortunate enough to have some excellent hosts in Buenos Aires (Mauro and Jessyka to name a few), and in Patagonia. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. They showed me where to go, and we squeezed in a few cafecitos too.

I'd like to meet people, while travelling - stretch myself a little out of the bubble left of working from home since 2021!

Que puedo les decir! Las cosas que me gusta hacer...
conocer la gente, charlar un rato, tomar unos cafes/tés/mate... comer bien!
caminar, tomar sol, conocer lugares nuevos...

Me encanta estar en el campo y la naturaleza... realmente soy campesina ... las montañas, valles, desierto, bosque, cualquiera. Hacer trekking... dar un paseo.

Pero también me gustan mucho las ciudades... visitar museos/galerias del arte. Dar un paseo. Me encanta ver la arquitectura, mirar la gente camina por la calle.

I also like a lot of European and Latin American music genres, folk music

I also love music from my own heritage - which is from the north of Ireland - so I can bring some songs from there too : )

I enjoy singing and playing music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing the Andes for the first time from the streets of Santiago, and for the last time from an air plane window

Cuando llegaba a Parque Conguillio en Chile, veía un bosque de araucarías y estaba cerca de el volcan Llaima.

When I arrived at Conguillio national park in Chile and saw a forest of Monkey Puzzle trees, trees which have amazed me since I was a child. Words can't describe it.

Living in Santiago, Chile for the two and a half years I did was a life changing experience. I was living a childhood dream and completing adult ambitions. I'll never forget my time there, I loved it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer a bit of conversation, I like to hear other people's stories and enjoy a nice cup of tea/wine or coffee :)

Can also offer a language exchange and tips if they plan to travel to the UK/Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Chile, Bolivia or Argentina.
