ABOUT ME

Hi there, I am an easy going, well travelled woman who loves getting away as much as possible, locally and worldwide.
I have been all over the world for work and pleasure,and for short and longer/residential time frames.
I currently live and work in Istanbul, but have lived for long periods in Europe,Asia and South America and other states in Australia. I enjoy socializing as well as 'me' time, love to laugh, try not to sweat the small things. I hope I usually try to keep an open mind and not take myself too seriously.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been a member of Couch surfng for years but for some reason have never really used it. I was out last night with a friend who hosts here in Istanbul and he encouraged me to give it a try on my Israel trip.

Interessen

I have a wide range of interests. I'm an avid traveller obviously but love soaking up art and new cultures. I'm a big reader, love movies but also like hiking,swimming and sports in general. I have a keen concern for human rights and fairness, and feel comfortble in rural and urnban landscapes.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Hiked several times in The Himalayas and to Machu Pichu . Ridden horses in Northern Argentina, Kapadokya, Turkey and in game reserves in Africa. I have swum with dophins on Yorke Peninsula in South Australia and whale sharks in Mozambique, The Maldives and Mexico. These, and so many other times I have felt awestruck.
Lived through - and watched from my balcony! - the 2016 coup here in Turkey. Surreal.
