Spent the past year living and working in China...now hoping to continue my travels across the globe and meet more incredible people along the way! Exploring new cultures, languages and cuisines always excites me and I'd love to share some of these experiences with others. I have a very easy-going nature, and since growing up on a farm I'm always keen to get stuck in and lend a hand where I can!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Having moved halfway across the world to start my first full time job as a foreign teacher in China, I've decided that the journey isn't over yet... I hope to travel across Australia & NZ- then who knows where next?!

Interests

I've played and watched sport my whole life, from hockey, tennis, lacrosse, and rugby to more adventurous activities like skiing and canyoning. I love to keep fit whether it's working out at home, at the gym, or finding places outdoors to go hiking or take a dog for a walk.
An animal lover at heart, I've grown up around plenty of sheep, cows and dogs, so I'm used to caring for various creatures, and love meeting other people's pets.
My joint degree included studying Classical Civilisation, so ancient history has always fascinated me. I'm a sucker for a good museum or documentary! Art is another of my passions, and I continue to enjoy sketching and visiting art galleries.
