About Me

I'm a generally happy, curious, and down-to-try-it person. Play, exploration, connective relationships, and creative work are the most centrally important things to me and I'm fortunate to have lots of opportunities for them in my daily life. I'm an organizer and coordinator, a writer, a performer, and a producer. That also means I'm often busy running from project to project.

As both a host and guest, I tend to be courteous and thoughtful and like a balance between spending some time together, and some time exploring on my own (or letting you do that, if you're staying with me.)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My adventures to new places are usually in search of making connections there. I like to get tastes of different lives, understand the feeling of a place, and ultimately find new places and people that will become my places and people.
When I stay somewhere, I much prefer to see it through the eyes of people who live there and I really enjoy experiencing things that a tourist would be unlikely to stumble upon.

As a host -- I currently have a lovely house, with a spare bed, and what a shame not to offer that to folks traveling through this beautiful city I live in :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year I produced a wedding for two of my best friends with original musical numbers set entirely inside of Italian Restaurant universe, where pasta is a metaphor for the human experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like learning about most things from most people. I'm an avid tour-taker and history-learner. If you can give a lecture on something, I probably want to hear it.

If you're in SF, I can show you some delightful walks in delightful places, help you navigate the transit system, and take you out for some very good food. My housemates and I are also likely to invite you to enjoy cooking and eating dinner together, and probably a movie night with our big projector movie screen

What I Can Share with Hosts

Want to see a show, explore a place, or go to a fantastic spot? Go with me! I'll buy your ticket or a glass of something :)

Always very happy to help write/ ideate/ plan/ organize an event or an idea or a joke.
Need something done on a stage? I might be able to help.
Need help coordinating or planning something? I'm also quite good at that, and like to do it.

If you're into stories about bizarre and very funny immersive performance art, I've got plenty of those.

I'm also likely to try and cook for you if I stay any length of time.
