My name is Lucy and I'm currently travelling with my partner, Nick. We have both just left our jobs working as a doctor and musician to spend a year travelling around South America.

Both of us speak English but have been learning Spanish and would love any opportunities for language exchange.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd like to use Couchsurfing as a means of meeting new people and travelling to new places.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It has been a long time since I have used couchsurfing as a way of travelling, but I previously hosted couch surfers when living with a flatmate in Glasgow and thoroughly enjoyed showing them the city.

I have also couch surfed when travelling in the USA several years ago.

Both hosting and surfing have only ever been positive experiences for me.

We are both very sociable and love to meet new people, learn about the music, art and politics of places we visit and to explore nature.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

We are both avid readers, I will be looking for reading material while I travel so if anybody is interested in swapping books or pointing me in the direction of a local bookshop, it would be appreciated.

Nick is a piano player and fiddler, specialising in classical and Scottish folk music, but we both love live music of all sorts and are hoping to see as much as we can while we travel.
