I'm a student from Brisbane so has an incurable case of the travel bug! My passions in life, other than travelling, are French and cooking. I'm also a scout and I love the outdoors and camping.

I'm a bit quiet and shy to begin with, but I soon warm up and I love to have a good chat about travel (or anything else). I subscribe to the leave-no-trace philosophy, so you don't even know that I'm (materialistically) there!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love The Book Thief by Marcus Zuzak. I will also never forget Clara's Story, the memoir of a young Polish jew during World War II. (Somewhat urprisingly, however, the Middle Ages favourite historical period.)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a semester living in Lyon, France for a university exchange as well as a year in Strasbourg, France where was an English language assistant in a high school. During these two sojourns abroad, I met lots of exceptional human beings who have made a huge difference in my life. I also challenged myself by doing something new or trying out a new word on a regular basis. It was hard to get out of my comfort zone, but the reward of growing as a person made it totally worth it!
