HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just found out about this from a friend. I thought this would be an awesome way to travel to meet new people. After all, it's people that you meet that truly enriches the trip and make travels come alive!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had some incredible Couchsurfing experiences, both from surfing and hosting. I traveled with my Couchsurfing host on a whim, short-noticed trip to Ibiza and had a blast with the hippies. I couchsurfed with the most authentic, funniest guy in Barcelona who steered me away from the tourist beach and showed me a secret gay beach where adults frolicked free like children. I met a Palestinian who taught me his tradition, history, and culture, that I never could have learned in history books. That, is the beauty of Couchsurfing.
