ABOUT ME

Born and raised military brat. Could never get the travel bug out of me. Been in San Antonio Texas for over 20 years now, so it is home, but love to travel on the side. Have a home, job, and car so the traveling becomes difficult sometimes for a single person. Can't stand the word "double occupancy". It sounds like punishment for the single out there.

PHILOSOPHY

Get busy die or get busy living. That is my motto from the movie Shawshank Redemption. Great movie by the way! I believe in living life to the fullest and never miss an open opportunity that comes your way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Brand new. Heard about the site through the local newspaper and decided to check it out myself. It is very hard to travel when you are single. I end up going by myself or in a small group which can turn out to be a bad experience or good. I figure to try out couchsurfing and experience good company and make new friends!

When I was in Mexico and parasail and zip line for the 1st time! It was a blast.

I am hoping share friendships of people over several countries and knowing some of the hidden gems of the places that most tourist don't get because the stay in a typical tourist attraction place and don't experience the real place.
