ABOUT ME

I love meeting people on couchsurfing, I think it's such a fantastic project. I'd like to be more involved and hope to get some more travelling done soon. I love reading, drawing/painting, hiking/camping, singing, jazz and blues and folk music, a few drinks now and then, sunshine, countryside, cities, the sun and the sea. Lots of things.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Although I am not able to host anyone in my current situation, I have been lucky enough to meet a few CSers in the area for food and drinks and conversation. I have yet to have an experience I wouldn't call very positive. I love Couch Surfing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

was hosted in Italy, met some cool people at cs party in london, have hosted a few people in bracknell (near london) for drinks, hope to get more involved now I'm in San Francisco.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read. My favorite books of all time are Trout Fishing in America by Richard Brautigan, Even Cowgirls Get the Blues by Tom Robbins, and A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole. I love British children's literature, like Lord of the Rings, Narnia, Peter Pan, Railway Children, Harry Potter, Children of Green Knowe, Winnie the Pooh, all good. As for music, I love jazz, blues, bluegrass, funk, soul, traditional folk music of many cultures, etc. Movies... I love Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Wes Anderson, Cohen Brothers, Princess Bride, Jurassic Park, all the old Star Wars movies of course,

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I stroked the nose of a wild horse in the Spanish Pyrenees. The mountains were misty and silent. I guess it was pretty amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak Welsh and Spanish, and would love to teach them to anyone. I'm also pretty good at art. I play several musical instruments to varying degrees of mediocrity, such as piano, violin, and guitar. I'm pretty handy at a campsite, love building big bonfires, and can cook pretty well.
