I am on my path towards becoming more aware of myself. I grew up in the United Arab Emirates, lived there for 16 years where I finished high school. I graduated from medical school in Cairo University then did my Pediatric residency in New York before returning to Dahab, Egypt. I lived in Dahab for 3 years and now I am traveling around Central America while waiting to start a new job in California.

There are many topics I like to talk about and I like to connect with people authentically. I love it when I am around someone who doesn't shy away from asking me very direct and personal questions. You will always get an honest answer from me, even if it takes me a minute to appreciate the feelings it triggers in my body.

In my university I used to be part of an organization that is affiliated to IFMSA, I used to be the local exchange officer where my job was to host international medical students and plan their scientific and social programs throughout their stay in Cairo. That experience led to us starting our own educational program. Check out divewithdoctors on Instagram or the same name goes for our website (.com). I am one of the co-founders of the program. We do diving related medical education in addition to SCUBA diving. It is an amazing experience, both organizing and living it :) .. one of the best things going on in my life right now.

I love baking and there was a time when I was making some extra income by selling my bakeries.

In summer 2012 Couchsurfing was a bless to me.. I was hosted by people who gave me the chance to do some activities I would have never gotten to do if I didn't know where to go. I was very grateful. I also try to help anyone who needs help around Cairo, and recommend to them the best there is. I am currently traveling.

Books: I recently read "The Tibetan book of Living and Dying", the book was revolutionary to my perception.
"Ishmael" by Daniel Quinn, Conversations with God, The path of Love by "Deepak Chopra", How to change your mind, Thinking fast and slow, A brief history of thought, How we learn, the Harry potters, The Power of NOW.

Music: I am learning to dance Bachata, so I love Latin rhythms, and in general I love music and listen to a diverse array of genres, too diverse to write down. The only Genre i dont enjoy is Metal.

I am not big on TV, I like documentaries and like watching some movies. I enjoyed Game of Thrones and Narcos lately.

I am ready to learn anything new... Even if it is a way to compress empty bottles and close the lid so they would take less space, this was genius when I first learned it, and still is.
