About Me
Hi! I’m Ludo, from Italy :)☀️
I’m an Archaeology student, and by nature I love traveling and discovering new places and histories. Whenever I travel, I am keen on getting to know more about the local culture, trying delicious food and meet new people, while freely exploring the place wandering between narrow alleys, impressive monuments and dusty old museums. I can be a bit of a nerd on that side actually, I can see something beautiful in literally anything, and more than once you’ll find me staring at the same building for a good couple of minutes just cause the doorway looks interesting 😂✌️
I'm usually a very talkative person, I really do enjoy to communicate with pretty much everyone and forge new connections wherever I go :)
Both while at home and while traveling, hearing people's stories is definetly what fascinates me the most! Living life through their eyes, and listening to all kinds of old and new memories, it really enhances your own perception of the world, and even while sitting on a chair, it feels like you're already traveling through space and time🌻
On the other hand, I also reaaally do enjoy just sitting by myself somewhere outside every once in a while and looking at the world with all its voices and colors going on all around me for some time, not really taking part in any of it but at the same being as involved as I could ever be🌱
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I find the idea of staying at someone’s place the best opportunity to immerse myself even more in the local environment, to meet new people ans forge new connections :) And of course, it gives you the chance to experience life in the place you're visiting, even if just for a few days!
Myself I love hosting old friends and new people alike whenever I have the chance, and even more showing them around those places I love in my city! And this platform is perfect for that🍃

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling across Iran for three months in the summer, learning the language, meeting up with new and old friends, and acquainting myself with a place that had felt like home already years before I ever stepped foot there🌸 After that, I slowly came back to Italy through long bus and train rides with six broken bags on my shoulders, it was quite the experience😂✌️
What I Can Share with Hosts
I currently live in Naples, where I'm studying, and I share an apartment with two of my friends (myself I'm in a double room with one of them). The place is not big, and each time it will be a shared decision whether to accept a guest or not, so I cannot guarantee I'll be able to host, but I'll try my best! And in any case, even if I can't host I'd love to show you around the city, that's one of my favourite things to do :))
Also, usually once every few of months I go visit my family in the North, we live in the countryside between Brescia and Lake Garda, and I could potentially host there as well in these moments! I don't have a car, so I cannot pick you up from the train or bus station(s) nor show you around as easily as I'd like, but naturewise it's an amazing place if you'd like some rest from city life 🌸
