Hi everybody!! My name is Ludovico (but everybody just calls me Ludo) and I am a 22 year-old Italian student. I study modern languages and literature at the University of Venice. I love music and playing guitar, as you can see by my profile photos... I love literature, cinema and sharing experiences and ideas. I am a big A.C. Milan fan! I really enjoy meeting other people when I travel, because I find it to be a great way to get to know the country I'm visiting and because it's very nice and challenging to communicate with people who don't speak my language.

Música, películas y libros

I love every kind of music, from jazz to hard rock to classical. I am a guitar player and I love teaching guitar! I am a great fan of books, especially 1800 and 1900's literature. I absolutely love Russian literature (Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky above all), but also English (Hardy, Woolf), French (Hugo, Proust), Portuguese (Pessoa, Saramago), Brazilian (Lispector) and Argentinian (Borges, Soriano, Quiroga). I love watching movies and it's very hard for me to choose some favorites... but I'll go with "Before sunrise", "Talk to her" (big Almodovar fan) and "In the mood for love".

I love learning about other cultures: that is actually the reason that pushes me to travel. I consider myself a very good listener, so I always try to learn something from what the people around me say. I like sharing my experiences with others, so to encourage them to do similar experiences.

What can I offer to my hosts? Well, being a very passionate reader, I could talk about literature and have great debates with my hosts: it's always a question of sharing! I'm keen to learn, so I think I could be a very good audience too!!
