我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Some of my loveliest friends are extremely passionate about couchsurfing. I had my first experience with it a while ago and it was really awesome to be part of such open sharing.

I'm spending the summer in Sweden (and visiting Norway), catching up with friends and enjoying the sun 🙂

Languages, I'm still trying to learn more than is reasonable!

Dancing - I dance a bunch of Lindy Hop, salsa and blues. Lindy's gotten me to travel about Australia and the world and I've met some incredible people through it.

Running - whether it's through a forest or by a beach, I love being in nature. Running has always been a great way for me to reset and feel good outside.

Jamming! I love music a lot, some of the most fun for me is jamming with friends =)

Picking favourite music is hard! I love jazz, quite a lot - Cannonball Adderly, Charlie Parker, Ella Fitzgerald, Jacques Loussier and Louis Armstrong. I love newer artists the Cat Empire, Ben Folds and Lake Street Dive. But I listen to a lot of varied music.

Movies: L'auberge Espagnole, My Sassy Girl, Into the Wild

I'm a bit of an anime geek - so I love Naruto, Hayate no Gotoku and Evangelion.

Books: Anything by Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett or Stephen Fry. A Farewell to Arms, Geisha, La Promesse de l'aube

I once designed a little bridge some friends' wedding. We built it a few summers ago over a creek on her family's farm in Toodyay - about 100km from my city. It was very sweet that everyone got to cross it when they got married =)
