I'm an international mess of fairly diverse interests. Linguistics, sciences and nature most of all. Fairly nerdy. Mostly harmless. I've lived in this burgh for some 11 years and for all my travelling I love it as a base.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I knew friends who have done it and hosted and enjoyed it, and then I moved into a lovely little apartment of my own in some beautiful alms houses right by the City centre, so it seemed like the right thing to do.

Since then, I have enjoyed hosting, and I now live right in town centre in a flat with a spare room. Had a year hiatus, but am ready for guests again.
