About Me

TLDR: I’m a 34yo husband and father of 2. I work in higher education as digital designer and live in the greater Dallas area.

—-

Having been raised by two immigrants from Central America, I’ve always appreciated the culture of hospitality and a strong appreciation for diversity and connectedness.

I was raised in the DFW Metroplex where I also attended two years at a community college district where I know work (Dallas County Community College District).

I then transferred to Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, where I graduated with a bachelor degree in digital media. My time in Utah is one that I cherish greatly. I made many dear friends that I am still close to today. We hung out together, played Super Smash Bro’s constantly, road tripped often, and participated in huge life events together.

Some in our group even married each other! That’s where I met my wife. We were married in Provo, Utah, in 2008.

Soon life took us to Las Vegas where we lived for 6 years. We loved our time there growing together as a couple and adding 2 beautiful girls to our family. During our time in Vegas we were able to play host to many friends who passed through town. I loved being able to show them sights or chat with them while they were with us.

We have since returned to the Dallas area to be closer to my family and have our kids grow up around their cousins and grandparents.

I work for the Dallas County Community College District where I manage the usability and design of our web and digital properties. Working in nonprofit is so tremendously rewarding especially when I meet people who have been to any of our colleges and hear how their experience had put them on the path to a better life.
