Overview
About Me
I’m a philosophy and ethics teacher living in Costa Rica for14 years ago, passionate about learning and always curious about how people make sense of the world. I’d say I have an open-minded and adaptable spirit—empathetic by nature, and always ready to rethink my own worldview after a good conversation.
I haven’t used Couchsurfing in a long while (oops, I know…), but you can still find signs of life on Instagram: @luigiovani15.
I love long walks, reading anything that makes me think, listening deeply, and appreciating the small details most people hurry past. I try to mix a thoughtful mindset with a youthful philosophical, but not boring, I promise.
Pura vida ✨
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Always happy to learn from others, exchange perspectives, or just enjoy a good talk about life, culture, ideas… or why the universe seems determined to confuse us.
Interests
I really enjoy good conversations—ideally shared over a coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or even just a bottle of water. I’m always up for exchanging ideas, talking about life, culture, philosophy, or simply whatever sparks curiosity in the moment.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a bit of everything, but I'm terrible at remembering song names or artists. I just enjoy the sounds, the lyrics, and the feelings they create.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing bioluminescence in Puerto Rico — truly magical.
But honestly, one of the most incredible things I’ve done is deciding to travel even without speaking English well. There’s something powerful about stepping into the world anyway and letting experiences give new meaning to life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I believe good vibes are contagious. I’m naturally helpful, and I enjoy throwing ideas into the air just to see what paths they open. If someone ever wants my perspective on something, I’m always happy to share—though I don’t pretend to be an expert. I simply try to be a conscious human being, aware of my opportunities for continuous growth and improvement.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer a good vibe and a respectful, attentive presence. I’m gay-friendly — I don’t really believe in labels, and I’m pretty discreet, but always respectful of everyone’s identity and experience.
I can also share tips and suggestions for things to do and places to visit in Costa Rica.
