AUSTRALIA FOR JANUARY AS GUEST

Hey! I'm a Brazilian/italian woman that just got in Australia and I'm ready to travel and know better this country. I love new adventures, go to nature, have good experiences and talk, and for sure, know the real life in every different country. I was born in Rio de Janeiro so the weather between our countries is pretty similar, makes me feel good.
I worked in Cinema Career in Brazil as art assistant and actress but now I wish to visit some University to start with the Sociology course focus on Genger and woman issues.
I lived in Canada for some time so I'm a english speaker, as portuguese and a bit of spanish and french as well.
I really hope to help and being help on this exchange, I'm a good cooker and I'm up to help with many differents things, hope to enjoy time together :)
A lot of political experience to share, I'm from democratics and left group and woman organization from Rio de Janeiro.

BACK IN RIO ON FEBRUARY AS A HOST

I always lived in this really nice neighboor in Rio, Laranjeiras, 15 minutes from beach and many markets and stores around it. Is pretty good for bar and chill out as well!
I'll be happy for show around and go to some special places with safety at some point of your stay, we know some special spots in Rio :)
We are a very busy family so If u are an independent traveler that knows how to take buses, subway and walk around is really good, my house has an extra room that could fit maybe 3 guests, so small groups are welcome as well!

[IMPORTANT]: We had many guests this month and some of they enjoyed the moment of a calm house to take a rest of the trip and that's pretty okay for us but the ventilation and lights have been used all day and it gets REALLY expensive for us, and in Brazil one of the most expensive taxes is about light ( one of the higher in the world) and Rio is crazy hot so if you wanna stay during the summer I'm asking for a contribution for the light (ventilation, air condition) around R$ 30 or R$ 40 in TOTAL (doesn't metter if is 1/2/3 people, it's only about really expensive taxes that cames from an extra room been used) if you are staying for some nights. I hope that's clear that is not about money but about help with costs to make me able to host as many as people is possible :)
