ABOUT ME

I am finally living in London! Studying graphic design, looking for a band and maybe some new friends.

At the moment my couch isn't really available, as I'm still sorting out my living situation. I would love to meet people for coffee or drinks, or going out dancing or to see a gig or art exhibition... I'm up for anything. I just want to meet interesting people.

About me, well, I am a procrastinator and I talk too much.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is a very big part of my life: Ska, mostly. The Slackers, Skatalites, Hepcat, Specials, Madness, Toasters, and so on. Swing, as well, with the Squirrel Nut Zippers, Royal Crown Revue, Cherry Poppin' Daddies, etc. Jazz, as melodic as possible, though I don't know that much about it. Some Brazilian music: Chico Buarque, Paulinho da Viola, Cartola, Tom Jobim. Oh, a little bit of punk rock, too: Rancid, The Clash, Nofx, etc. Some other rock stuff: Stray Cats, Elvis, and, above all, the Beatles.

Movies... well, I realize i don't know a lot about cinema (especially since my best friend is a movie buff and knows quite a lot!). I love animation movies (Disney, Pixar, Aardman, etc). I really dislike horror movies, and sometimes get quite nervous on Ben Stiller-type comedies, but other than that, I'm up for anything. Also, I cry on every single movie, I think, so to watch a drama I need to be on the correct state of mind hahaha!
I love Cinema Paradiso, Back to the Future, Singing in the Rain, The Lord of The Rings, The Little Mermaid, Monsters Inc, Snatch, Monty Python in general, The Godfather.

Books: I need to catch up on my readings. I love all Asterix books. I also love The Catcher in The Rye, Watership Down, Time and Again, 100 Years of Solitude, The Princess Bride.

I can teach you songs in Portuguese. And made-up curse words.

I want to learn the clarinet, singing, italian, cooking and dancing jive and swing.

I don't mind sharing beer, but I don't like sharing ice cream.
