HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to go to more CS meetups and maybe create a few myself...I'm thinking Ultimate Frisbee in the near future!

I haven't used CS to host or stay before but I look forward to meeting new people and being more involved in my community through this awesome website.

I love to be outside hiking, walking or throwing a frisbee. Currently I spend most of my time working as an HVAC technician and also towards my long term goal of being a firefighter.

Hmm well I watch a lot of movies. As for books I mainly read old adventure novels and historical fiction. Also a big fan of Lonely Planet, Clive Cussler, Conn Iggulden, and J.R.R. Tolkien.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

After seeing a picture of a rock stuck between two cliffs in a Norway tourism magazine, I decided I was going to go there. When I was in Stavanger, I convinced my friend Nikolai to go to Kjeragbolten and we hiked to that rock. I still have the picture to this day and it is one of my most amazing travel accomplishments.

When I was climbing Kilimanjaro our guide's favourite swahili phrase was "Pole pole". It means to move slowly. He told us this so that the altitude sickness would not have a harsh effect on us. But this also translates to our lives. In today's day and age everything happens so fast. If you're having an argument with your buddy about something all you have to do is Google it and voila! Argument solved. I think that sometimes we need to take things slowly. So go ahead, argue about whether dolphins are whales or not. But don't Google it right there inside the Milestones...Pole Pole everyone.
