About Me
CURRENT MISSION
tour Europe with the locals (August 2005)
ABOUT ME
I'm an introvert by nature. Not too shy, but I do feel more comfortable in small gatherings than at large parties. The exception is when I'm dancing (e.g. at night clubs). That's where I feel the most free and the least reserved.
I'm active. Besides practicing yoga, I swim, run, hike... do a variety of things to stay fit.
I'm religious, but not a zealot. I know that might be a big turn off to some of you reading, but I'd be dishonest if I didn't say so.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe we're here to learn how to love one another. This sounds simplistic, but I believe it's more challenging than it sounds. Most all of us inherently think of ourselves & our needs before those of others. It takes a lifetime to learn how to put the needs of others first.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
All of the couchsurfing I've done has been w/relatives. A few years ago, traveling cross country (3000 miles) from AZ to PA, I stopped in Chicago and stayed w/a cousin I barely knew. It was loads of fun. He took my friend and I to Sears tower, a fun night club, and a different restaurant all 3 nights we were there!

Music, Movies, and Books
Although I enjoy reading, I'm not an avid reader. The most recent book that I really loved was one I listened to in my car (on CD). It's called Namesake by Jhumpa Lariri (hope I spelled her name correctly).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's hard to limit it to just one thing, but here's one: I climbed to the top of Half Dome in Yosemite (California).
